The PSEJATC has been notified that IBEW L.U. #46 has taken a strike action as of April 11, 2024 at 12:01 am. We understand that this has affected several of our programs’ apprentices and resulted in many questions that we have been fielding. Please see the FAQ below for the most frequently asked questions from apprentices.

FAQ:

•       Am I required to report to work during the strike?
  • Yes, you need to be available and report to work.
•      Am I required to report to work if my employer tells me not to?  
  • No, you are not required to report.
•      When do I return to work if my employer has told me not to? 
  • We, recommend that you stay in contact with your employer for direction.
•     What do I do if I report to work and adequate supervision per the JATC program Standards is not available? 
  • Notify your employer of the situation, and contact the JATC if you have any concerns.
