Graduating Class of 2023

On Saturday, February 24, 2024, over 600 people gathered at the Renton Pavilion Center to celebrate the graduating Class of 2023. This was the largest class in PSEJATC history with 260 Inside Wire, 43 Limited Energy and 13 Residential Wire apprentices.

Jameson Schwetz, Executive Director of the Puget Sound chapter of NECA, and Sean Bagsby, IBEW Local 46 Business Manager were guest speakers at the event. They encourage the class to continue to strive to be “the best electricians around” and to always learn and grow in the trade. Full-time instructor, Marne Hansen, spoke to the heart of the class and expressed her appreciation in being part of their apprenticeship experience.

Leroy Wong                    Limited Energy Apprentice of the Year

Ryder Richardson       Residential Wire Apprentice of the Year

 

Special Academic awards were given to:

Jonathan Klein            Frank Oleson Academic Achievement – Valedictorian Inside Wire

Sydney Brown              Frank Oleson Academic Achievement – Valedictorian Limited Energy

 

Fluke recognized their NTI Outstanding Apprentices:

Travis Greenfield was recognized for his participation in the Western States Contest as he represented PSEJATC in the contest.

Vendor sponsors Milwaukee Tools, Fluke, and Klein Tools were there to hand out gifts to the apprentices in attendance. We are grateful for their participation and continued support. We are looking forward to 2025 and celebrating the Class of 2024!
